COVID-19 Resources

During these difficult and uncertain times, we hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. The Atlantic-IMN is continuing to work to support Indigenous students in a remote setting and has suspended all face-to-face interactions/events. Please do not hesitate to contact us at should you want to connect with us.

It is important in these difficult times to remain connected with one another.

Atlantic IMN COVID-19 Emergency Bursary

The Atlantic Indigenous Mentorship Network is aware that the current COVID-19 pandemic may be impacting our trainees and early career investigators in a variety of ways. This Emergency Bursary is for trainees (this includes Undergraduates, Masters, PhD, and Post-Doc students), along with Early Career Investigators who have been impacted by the current COVID-19 Pandemic. Students who are accepted into a program for Spring, Summer, or Fall of 2020 are also eligible to apply. Funding amounts of $1,000 are available for Indigenous trainees and early career investigators who express a financial need through the current pandemic. Priority will be given to individuals who are undertaking Indigenous health research that serves to benefit Indigenous communities in Atlantic Canada. Limited funds are available.
